Terry Gilliam was born in 22 November 1940 in Medicine Lake, Minnesota. He is a American-born British screen writer, director, animator, actor and member of the Monty Python comedy troupe (Wikipedia). After a series of trying to figure out his pathway in life he eventually landed a job at Help! Magazine. At his work place he held the position as an animator and strip cartoonist (Imbd). Further along his career he transitioned to the film directing world, and directing films like "The Life of The Brian", 1979 and "The Meaning of Life", 1982. Which he directed through his past experiences he endured. Since 1973 Gilliam married a British makeup artist and costume designer named Maggie Weston (Wikipedia). He held a dual citizenship in Britain and America for thirty eight years. Later renounces his American citizenship due to his lack of support of George W. Bush and his beliefs of tax on his children and wife. He is allowed to spend thirty days in the United States and now resides in Italy. Terry Gilliam work is truly remarkable and will continue to receive lots of rewards. With that being said Terry Gilliam lives by "There's so many film schools, so many media courses which I actually am opposed to. Because I think it's more important to be educated, to read, to learn things, because if you're gonna be in the media and if you'll have to say things, you have to know things."
